These terms

These terms cover this website, the interest list, customer accounts, and the serial register for Ramal Al Zaman (رمال الزمن). Ramal Al Zaman is made by hand in the United Arab Emirates and offered online. For a customer in the UAE, the Arabic text is the one that applies. The English text is published with it. When a trade license is issued, this page and every invoice will show the trade name, the licensing authority, the license number, and the registered address.

Interest list

Registering interest asks us to write to you about this watch. It is not an order, not a payment, and not a reserved piece. A place in the list does not promise that a watch will be offered. You can ask us to remove your details by writing to [email protected].

Accounts and serials

An account lets you claim a watch by its serial and offer it to another account holder. Our register is the record we keep for servicing and for who we recognise as the holder. It is not a government register of ownership. A serial can be claimed only while it is unclaimed. A transfer is complete when the recipient accepts it.

The watch

Final materials, specifications, price, and delivery terms will be confirmed before any sale.

Buying

No watch is for sale on this website yet. When a sale opens, a contract is formed only when we accept payment and confirm the order. The price, the delivery cost, and the ship window shown before payment are part of that contract. We will send an invoice that includes the serial.

Returns

If a delivered watch is faulty, incomplete, or not as described, or if it arrives so late that it can no longer be used for its purpose, write to [email protected]. We will repair it, replace it, or refund the price. Write promptly after delivery. The exact period will be stated in the sale terms before you pay. An edition number engraved for you can limit a return made only because you changed your mind. It does not limit a return for a fault or for a watch that is not as described.

Servicing

We will service Ramal Al Zaman in the UAE for as long as we continue this work. The service covers regulation and the care described with the watch when it is sold. It does not cover the strap, accidental damage, water damage. Those can be repaired for a charge agreed with you first. You will receive a written warranty with the watch, stating the serial, the period, what is covered, and what is not. Spare parts and repair arrangements will be set out in that document and on this website before a sale.

Delivery

Delivery places, cost, and timing will be shown before you pay. We will not add a delivery charge that was not shown then.

Your details

We use your name, email, phone, city, and message to reply about the watch, to run your account, and to keep the serial register. We do not send marketing unless you ask for it. You can ask us to correct or delete these details, apart from the record we must keep of a watch we have sold or serviced. A separate privacy notice will be published beside these terms.

Complaints

Write to [email protected]. We will confirm that the complaint has arrived and tell you how it will be handled.

Changes

We may update these terms as the workshop moves from an interest list to sales. The version on this page is the current one. A purchase is governed by the terms shown when you pay. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
